Unlike the “Big Box” weight loss retreats that host 50, 75 or 100 or more guests at a time, Mountain Trek offers an intimate, individualized experience for no more than 16 guests. Our Guide-to-Guest ratio is 1-to-4. You will get all the attention you need to be successful in your fitness and weight loss goals. Our staff walks their talk and attends to you personally – focusing on who you are, where you are on your fitness and weight loss journey and where you want to be. There’s no competing for a cardio machine in a gym the size of a concert hall, no hiking with a big group that is either too fast or too slow for you, no standing in a buffet line for your meals, no juggling massage appointments. Our high intensity kick-start program will change you from a calorie-storer to a calorie-burner as you hike through magnificent backcountry in the care of our expert guides and torch calories in a wide array of high-energy fitness classes. Our outstanding, calorie-controlled spa cuisine meals (plus snacks) will fuel your efforts. As part of Mountain Trek’s total mind-body-spirit approach, you’ll stretch to gentle yoga every morning, de-stress with relaxation techniques and evening massages and then detox in our sauna and steam room. You’ll learn about nutrition and healthy eating from our registered dietician. You’ll explore strategies for stress management with our certified Wellness Coach.
